Vintage (mid 20th Century likely) Britannia Royal Naval College Sweetheart Brooch.

Made on Lucite (an early acrylic plastic) which looks like mother of pearl. Lucite was a common material in WW2 as it was used extensively for military aircraft, windshields and turrets. Leftover materials were repurposed like this.
