Victorian to WW1 Campaign Boot Jack 30 x 11.5cm

£70.00Price

Portable Victorian Campaign Boot Jack up to WW1.

An essential piece of beautifully crafted kit - probably for an Officer - given the muddy conditions in Victorian campaigns and those of WW1. It was essential to have these and to make them as easily portable as possible. No additional tools to the underside as in other examples.

Used to assist with the removal of boots without the need for too much bending. Common in the UK in the 19th Century. Wood type believed to be mahogany. Utility and craftsmanship in one.
