These are a great set of German WW2 relics found near the positions of the SS and Wehrmacht, further description underneath.
These are a great set of German WW2 relics found near the positions of the SS and Wehrmacht in the Eastern Front.
This includes an SS Belt buckle, field made SS dogtag, and a bottle topper from the SS training camp 'Heidelagen.'
There also appears to be a Heer dogtag, which comes with a cap Eagle and stripper clip.
The Polizei grouping is great, and comes with two halves of a dogtag, along with a Polizei cap badge and 25 year Long service medal and sports badge. Its quite rare to find these all in the same area! This presumably means they were part of an SS-Polizei unit.
Finally, there is a relic part of a K98 Ammunition pouch, an RAD dogtag, Eastern Front medal, Silverwash War Merit cross, part of al Tellermine fuse, the remains of a General Assault badge and a few buttons, followed by a Mg42 belt link, still with cartridges!
Sorting will definitely reward you. In total there is about £1000 of relics in this lot if sold to a serious collector. A real bargain!
This comes framed, may need to be properly fixed as it does not stay together.
